Stretton Winter Series Round 1

Stretton kicked off their winter series this weekend.
Open practice on friday kicked off the weekend, conditions were damp but riders got in loads of track time. The weather doing it's best to spoil things on saturday, even with some heavy downpours Nick and the staff soon had practise underway and Saturday qualifying went ahead trouble free later in the day.
Sunday morning thankfully was a bright and sunny start that would continue throughout the day, even with the sun and a good breeze the track remained damp throughout the day so plenty of entertaining slips were guaranteed
Scruteneering and riders briefing took place on time and it just seemed to me that everyone from the riders to the staff were determined to keep things running to the timetable, with everyone making sure they were in the holding area on time and some excellent pit lane management I was amazed just how smoothly the day went
