Wombwell is a neat circuit with a long and distinguished history of
running British championship events and where many famous motor
racing names have found glory in their racing careers. Including,
Jensen Button, David Coulthard,local hero Justin Wilson and, 6 times
World Kart Champion, Mike Wilson, who's late father we dedicate our
annual 'W' Plate (The Wilson Memorial Trophy) meeting to.

The circuit was fully resurfaced in August 2003.
The club runs both test and race days where all ABkC classes can
sample the long straight running alongside the famous Wombwell Wall.
There are 11 meetings a year, which take place usually on the second
Sunday of the month. There is no meeting in August.
Toilet and catering facilities are provided for competitors and spectators.

Wombwell is an extremely friendly club, which puts the emphasis on good
family racing. There is good local shopping for the ladies during Saturday
test days, full free weekend caravan and motorhome parking.
